About our Mortuary Cots & Accessories

The Junkin MC-100A mortuary cot has been a standard piece of equipment in funeral homes, hospitals, and morgues for decades because it does the difficult job of moving a body safely with a single operator. The cot measures 78 by 21 inches, weighs about 71 pounds, and carries up to 650 pounds. Its legs raise and lower with the operator's own leverage rather than lifting, and positive-lock brakes, lifetime-lubricated hardware, and a chrome-finished frame are designed for years of daily service.

The MC-100A family adapts to the work. The MC-100A-HD heavy-duty cot uses a reinforced frame rated to 900 pounds; the MC-100A-OS oversize cot is four inches wider at the same 900-pound rating; the MC-100A-R adds side rails; and the MC-100A-S Suburban cot has extended loading legs for high-floor SUVs and vans. Accessories include the MC-EXT extension handle, which adds 7.5 inches of reach for tight vehicle loading, and the Hy-Luster green felt cot cover for standard-sized frames.

The CT-150 changing table, built from anodized aluminum with a reinforced top, gives funeral homes a matching 78-by-32.5-inch work surface. All mortuary cots are manufactured in Louisville, Kentucky, and assembly diagrams and shipping documentation for the MC-100A are available on our Resources page. Ships via Freight, UPS or FedEx.
